Guadeloupe is a French island (actually part of France!) located in the arc of islands making up the eastern edge of the Caribbean Sea. The houses on the island reflect the tropical island culture and are often painted happy colors. Though the island does have mansions, I have focused on the typical abodes of regular folks, that display a modest, friendly, and tidy culture.
